The appearance of your chocobo companion can be altered using chocobo barding items. Once these items are used, they can be selected at any time via the Companion menu. Chocobo barding is purely cosmetic, and will have no effect on your companion's attributes.
* When first acquired, chocobo companions will be equipped with barding based on your associated Grand Company.
Select a chocobo barding item in your inventory, right-click to open the subcommand menu, then select Use.
