A difficult instance to be sure, but this is really a variant of the old Atari "Missile Command" game. Try this: zoom back to maximise your field of view. When Laksmi is shooting her orbs, don't worry about attacking her: just get the orbs. Position your mouse cursor over the dispell button, then keep it there! Use the keyboard to move (W,A, and D) and just use your mouse as a firing button for this phase.

I've been having troubles too. It is hard to do on PC using mouse never seem to be fast enough to get it done. Does anybody know if the dispell button can be placed on a hotkey? Woulld make my life easier.

Easily one of the most frustrating quests in the game the action button is highly unresponsive and having to constantly restart from the very beginning if you miss one of the too many aether spheres during the actual fight is just beyond annoying. After having dealt with it for over an hour I gave up in frustration and likely wont be going back to it again for at least a weak.
