A former Brass Blade, and provisional member of the Sultansworn, Caius travels Eorzea as a 'Free Paladin' - acting on behalf of the Immortal Flames.

Joined the Crystal Braves shortly before their disbanding, exiled for suspected treason. Returned from his exile to serve on the side of Ishgard in the Dragonsong War as an Azure Dragoon.

Travelled Eorzea to create himself a weapon capable of stopping even the most terrible Primals: his journey ended with his forging/summoning of the Excalibur.

Travelled to the Far East to assist in the Doman revolution, and later served in the Flame vanguard to take back Ala Mhigo from the occupying Garlean Forces.

Halted the machinations of the extra-dimensional Omega Weapon, destroying Excalibur in the process; scarred in single combat by the core sentience, Omega-M.

Served on the front lines at Ghimlyt leading Flame Special Division 'White Cinders'.

Travelled to the First; a parallel world; and defeated the Ascian Hephaestus with his sister, Adel Stark. Eliminated the threat of the Sin Eaters alongside other heroes, from across time and space.

Survived the Final Days, championing the star itself alongside the finest warriors; against enemies from beyond the edge of known reality. Known hence as 'Lightbringer'.

Journeyed to the western reaches of Etheirys to explore the Tural continent. Alleged to have been involved in the discovery of the City of Gold; to have fallen in love with a princess from another world; and/or the discovery of another dimension outside of the Shards.
