Communication / Chat
From the main menu, select System and open the Character Configuration menu, then select the Log Window Settings tab from the column on the left. Under the Notification Sounds tab, check the box next to any chat channel you want to add a notification for, and select your desired sound. It is also possible to set notifications for emotes directed at your character.
When setting notifications for multiple channels, it is recommended to use different sounds. You can preview sounds by selecting the musical note icon after making a selection from the channel's dropdown menu.
