Using Thousand Needles desynths, 66 Fieldcraft demimateria I pieces from 99 cactuar needles (many recrafting).

Gampi Shi Diabolos [Crystal]

49 HQ Thousand Needles (32 og, with 17 made with desynth) got a total of 24 fieldcraft. I'd go with the HQ needles. If you dont have you GS maxed, you can try this macro as long as you're level 69 with level appropriate gear.

G'hato Hylfyst Midgardsormr [Aether]

Thousand Needle still works great and is free to make [ 1x Cactuar Needle +1x Basilisk Whetstone (1x Basilisk Egg, miner)], crafted 60 or so and got 36 Fieldcraft back, plus 3 Clear which vendor for 1k each.

Can make a macro for quick HQ if your Goldsmith is high enough,

Jem Warmaiden Faerie [Aether]

Just confirming that brass ring of crafting still works as of 14/03/2023. The rate is definitely low though - 3/40. Still, much cheaper than buying from the marketboards. 3k total material cost from NPC, with many resynth mats from desynth.
