「人を殺めるために生まれて来た訳じゃない」


月下　十六夜


エオルゼアより遠く東の国で生まれ、幼い頃にガレマール帝国の手により両親を失った。
国境付近に駐屯していた帝国兵を、齢10歳にして2人斬殺。

偶然駐屯地へ潜入していた暗殺者に拾われ、暗殺の技術を習う。
数えきれない程の人を殺め、俺の手は血で汚れていた。

成長し、成人してからは、己の生き方に疑問を感じるようになった。




ある日、俺は旅に出ることにした。
聞くところによると、遠く西にエオルゼアという大陸があるらしい。
そこでは冒険者と呼ばれる強者達が、思いのまま生きているのだとか。

迷うことなく乗り込んだ船は、海に囲まれた都市、リムサロミンサへと到着した。

到着してすぐに、ある冒険者と出会い、俺は決心した。

───冒険者として生きよう───

この汚れた手で何が出来るかは分からないが、
まずはこの世界を歩いてみることにするか。
