Nikolaz Wilder was always the adventurous sort. When he was younger he was always imagining himself going on adventures when he was supposed to be helping raise the animals his parents captured. His favorites were the bigger ones, like the coeurls, who were trained to be docile and would play with him. In fact, for his 15th name-day, Niko was given one that he named Tezcatlipoca.

As he grew older, however, Nikolaz started to feel like his place wasn't following in his parents' footsteps. Both had been trappers and ranchers - his father a skilled trapper and his mother Especially good at raising them. In fact, Niko had picked up both skills with relative ease. But he still felt like something was wrong; like something greater was awaiting him.

And when the battle at the Carteneau Flats broke out, he felt like he had a better understanding of what he needed to do.

It took him five long years before he felt himself ready, but he finally felt ready to begin his journey into Eorzea as an adventurer. He was especially good with a lance, so he made his way to Gridania to enroll in the Lancer's Guild there. After some time, he also took up the art of conjuration at Stillglade Fane as well, eventually mastering both arts in his journeys. He even managed to become a great Warrior through continued training. Alchemy came somewhat naturally to him as well, and his knowledge of the lands served him well in both botany and mining.

Lately, though, he has been training in the art of the Ninja. And his time as one has been more enjoyable then he imagined it would be. He already knew how to sneak around, both from his fieldcraft ventures as well as his time working with the Rogues' Guild.

But for now, he flees towards Ishgard for sanctuary with his coeurl, Tez, after having been falsely accused of crimes he did not commit.


For now, Nikolaz Wilder makes his way heavensward...
