Rohna-Rae, a Mystel and former member of the Night’s Blessed from the Rak’tika Greatwood, awoke displaced within the dense, unfamiliar canopy of the Black Shroud. Guided by a comforting whisper in the wind and a warm breeze, she found her way to the Guardian Tree, where she discovered an abandoned Keeper of the Moon infant laughing amidst fading wisps of light. Taking the child in as her own, she eventually settled near a small Keeper camp in the South Shroud. To the local tribe, she was known simply as Roh, and despite the unconventional naming choice that drew some critical gossip, she named the boy Roh’an-Rae, while affectionately calling him Rae as a term of endearment.
