How to increase FC rank?

How do you increase your Free Company rank? I read that questing and doing FATEs help with leveling the FC, but is there anything else?
iirc, FC ranks were highly related to your FC credit amount, so I guess spam-crafting militia choker in HQ for Grand Company turn ins if any member has at least level 50 leatherworker class since it's one of the cheapest method. Yes, they're mainly use for racking up your own GC seals, but they still contribute to FC credits & your FC rank. Think I also left my note on one of my blogs for easy 1 button macro to HQ 2.0 recipes.
And quantity does help real lots. That means having more member joined, thus their upcoming activities will contributes to your rank/credits. IMO, not really big issues since I saw small FC as few as 4 members can achieve max rank with less problem. ;)

My last FC, we reached rank 8 simply by main story progression, crafting and pvp. Fate spamming also earns rank points. Good luck.
I believe pretty much doing anything with the exception of perhaps Golden Saucer stuff gets you FC rank xp.
Easiest is as said spam GC handins. Leveling, HQ gathering and questing as well as anything that gives GC seals will help.
To level my FC I ran dungeons and handed in the loot to GC but it was longtime barely enough for FC actions now and then. Got people that had still stuff to level in FC and they grinded through everything pushing us from like 100-200k to about 2mil FC currency... so yea activities do the job
make lots of raptorskin choker, or maybe it was hippogryph?, and turn em in when u alone.
basically u know the squadrons? there is this level 40 mission that gives u x5 item that boosts the gc seals u get by 15% it works with turn ins so:
>be sure you are alone or only 2-3 people online in guild
process:
> make tons of those chokers
>use the item boost
>turn in chokers
>exchange gc seals acquired for gc gears
>turn in gc gears
>repeat process :D
