Character Profile

There was a time when Badger Badager was a popular combatant in the Arena, where he known as "The Storm Fist." His skill in the pit was almost as extensive as his ego, but his rise to the championship was interrupted when he joined the Immortal Flames to help fight the Garlean Empire and the inconsiderate actions of Nael van Darnus.

He never spoke of what he did or what happened to him at Carteneau, but he came back a haunted shadow of his former self, losing himself in flagons of ale and forgetfulness. Rumors circulated for a while of undercover work and spy missions during the conflict, but they were forgotten as he faded into the shadows of obscurity.

Years later he was approached by his nephew Didishu Babachu, who still remembered the tales of The Storm Fist and needed help in searching for his missing mother. Although Badger was in no shape to go along, he did spend some time (reluctantly) training the youth who reminded him of his younger self. Plus he always thought his sister-in-law was kinda hot.

Months later he was once again approached by a relative, but this time it was his niece Dodoshi, looking for her brother Didishu who had vanished in his quest. Unlike last time, his reluctance was replaced by guilt and he agreed to leave his beloved ale house and aid in the search.

Didishu and Dodoshi's energy and enthusiasm brought him a sense of shame at his fall from grace, and he finally found the motivation to get back in shape and redeem himself, using his skills and expertise to help people and defend Eorzea...despite his occasional lapses.

Recently he ran into an old "friend" from his spy days, prompting him to return to world of stealth and shadows.
