A laid-back miqo’te who prefers to take life at his own pace. He has a casual, cool-guy attitude, but can seem intimidating to others due to his powerful resting angry face. T’zekh doesn’t like having responsibilities foisted on him by others, but he’s also the kind of person who can’t stop himself from stepping in when others need help. Hidden beneath his somewhat jaded exterior is a kind heart. T'zekh also has a strong moral opposition to taking others’ lives, and believes that those around him are a little bit too okay with killing.
T’zekh grew up in a remote, isolated village in Gyr Abania shared between several miqo'te clan branches. His village had once been subjugated by the neighboring Ala Mhigans in the distant past, and ever since had trained their children to be peerless fighters in the hopes of one day taking their revenge. However, due to their isolation they did not learn of the Garlean invasion until twenty years after the fact. When they heard that Ala Mhigo had long since fallen, many in the village wondered what it had all been for. T'zekh was one of those disillusioned villagers, and he struck out on his own to become an adventurer.
T’zekh decided to take up red magecraft after helping X’rhun Tia rescue some children from would-be kidnappers. He had never dabbled in magecraft before, but seeing X’rhun’s flashy moves and powerful spells made him think it might be fun to try. He wasn’t very good at it, but he’s come into his own as a mage. While his skills as an archer are unparalleled, T’zekh finds that he’s actually having more fun wielding a rapier than he ever did a bow—perhaps because magecraft is something he chose for himself.
