Duty Finder: Missed Connections

So when I first learned about the Duty Finder, I had mixed feelings about it, and they are reasons that have been beaten to death over and over in the forums so I wont' go into them here.
This is about the couple of good experiences I've had with Duty Finder. Now normally, when I queue up on Duty Finder (DF) it's always with my Handy Dandy Friendly Paladin friend, (and amazing boyfriend) Scobill. We like to have fun when we do runs. We'll talk and joke around, try and get to know the people in the party, etc.
Normally when we do this, we are met with a stoic silence. It takes tons of poking and prodding to even get a {Hello} from our fellow adventures, but every now and then... we strike gold. Every now and again, we get teamed up with someone who likes to talk and joke and is still able to do their job. To those people I say thank you for making this game fun <3.
A special shout out to the Mi'qote we met from Behemoth! You were awesome to party with, it's a shame we're on separate servers. Has anyone else met someone or a team or someone's really awesome that you wish was on the same server as you?

It seems like all the awesome people I meet in game are on other servers. It sucks. lol. I've been kind of trying to form more parties w/o Duty Finder because of that but haven't had much luck.
You don't happen to remember details, or what class, they were do you?

I just want to thank the party who got me through Halatali back at lvl 20 Megadeath (First Name), Achi (First Name), Shojo (Last Name)I tried to send friend requests but you belong to different servers. I also want to thank the group that stood with me against Ifrit. I don't remember your names but you were a great lot. I think one of you was Kehda'li but I don't remember. Also my Japanese friends from Copperbell, your on my friends list but I don't understand a goddamn word you say....

They were a lancer, and they were fun as heck. We ran ToTo-Rak with him/her. I just want to steal all those amazing people and form a company! I can only how much fun it would have been to get them all on Mumble/Skype/Teamspeak and just have a good time.

Yeah... probably a better way to build friendships etc, but then I'd miss out on these amazing people even if it is only for one party. :)
For me, this is what the MMO experience is about, teaming together with people, making friends and tackling the challenges! I hate the idea of playing a 1 player game with a bunch of people around.
Ahaha, it might have been me. I kept dragging tons of people through it (now Haukke and Brayflox) the past few days. Someone from my group actually send me over here to check if it was one of us.
I tend to always razz people while stabbing things in the face until death sets in.

That's fantastic! Well if it was you... you need to come over to Excalibur! We have cookies? >>. lol In all seriousness that's great that you're helping people through! It's things that like that make this community a cut above the rest :)
Actually, I believe a certain healer I adopted into my harem also was from Excalibur.
Alas, our group is uncertain as to where we may (or may not) be drifting off to. Behemoth is also a wonderful server (thus far) and so if we did transfer anywhere we will let you know. For now I shot over a follow.
Just remember to not die anytime soon. I am getting awfully hungry and it may result in cannibalism.
