About: Hailing from a distant star, it was a mystery how Faelyn came to land on this particular star. Maybe it was by chance? Or maybe fate? All that matters is that he's here, otherwise, he would not exist at all.
His home was that of war and bloodshed. For what you might ask? Knowledge. Prior to its destruction under the weight of the near unending war, his home contained a great many forbidden books and documents. The knowledge that was sought after by neighboring stars, which meant it was under attack more often than not. Pirates, war generals, and rulers of all shapes and sizes. Had it not been for the loving nature of the wet nurse that had essentially raised him, he never would have escaped the crumbling planet.
His family ruled the warring planet; his mother missing, his king father mad from watching his denizens slaughtered, siblings that were part of the growing pile of bodies that lined the streets. He had nothing left for him. Without a fight, at the age of 10, he was boarded on a ship hidden underground, built millennia ago by his ancestors using a piece of forbidden knowledge - the ability to perform quickened space travel. It was thanks to this technology that he was able to travel from star to star, in the hope of finding a new home for himself in the universe.
