Wildwood Elezen that goes by the name of Elouan Sauveterre, the man is a kind and fairly friendly soul interested in hearing other's stories. While his own aren't that grand, in his opinion, he will still tell them nonetheless. Elouan's nature is that of a steadfast and loyal ally. Seldom does he stop a task before completion, nor does he go back on his word. Loyalty is everything to him; he'll lay down his life for people close to him and those that he can protect. All in all, Elouan has a stubborn streak that can be hidden by that friendly and mannered demeanor. Give him something to jest about and there may be an evening of raucous laughter on your hands!

Elouan Sauveterre had been born and raised in The Black Shroud, spending his formative years weaving between the towering trees outside of Gridania and being a helpful young Elezen for both Wood Wailers and fellow cityfolk alike. Unlike the majority of his race, Elouan held no distinct interest for the way of the lancer, nor what archery had in store. Rather, his mind yearned for the hot sands and desert climate home to the Ul'dahn gladiators.

At the age of fourteen did he take a carriage--with what gil he accrued--to Thanalan. It was there he arrived both out of place and clearly poor. The Adventurer's Guild made sure work of him and, coupled with meeting the Gladiator's Guild's own Mylia, he started his journey. Elouan had his competition cut out for him early on, given the vast majority were of Hyur and Roe origin. Years of training, fighting in the coliseum, and establishing himself in the city were all that he needed to further succeed in the art of sword and shield.

Only when his training increased the stakes and challenge had he been given the opportunity to prove himself as Paladin-worthy. From then on, his training shifted to a precise nature and harbored duties to aid those outside of the coliseum's circle. With the specialty slowly taking him in, Elouan's wish became reality. He returned to Gridania as a Paladin, yet with a twist: instead of exclusively aiding Ul'dah's royalty, his sword and shield were open to those in need. A grown knight with a kind heart and level head between the shoulders, Elouan enlisted as a Serphent soldier.

While he still answers the duty to Gridania as a Serpent soldier, he continues his adventuring ways throughout the realm. Thus far, Elouan had taken a liking to the secluded Holy See and what vast, seldom interrupted regions which surround it.
