A wandering warrior with steely eyes and a hardened countenance, Via Kurenai is an adventurer bound by a desire to travel. She and her younger sister Valla were orphaned at a young age and adopted by the Scarborough clan who trained both sisters in the art of warfare.

Proficient in defense, Via specializes as a tank, having served as a freelance guard before traveling to Limsa Lominsa thanks in part to rumors of all of the opportunities for sights to see and battles to fight. Her desire to defend transcends arms and armor - resulting in Via taking up healing arts to also protect her friends and allies.

Though stoic and often quiet, Via is quite fond of people and tends to observe people in public settings like taverns.
