Part 2:
It wasn't long after that Koana showed up with traitorous Thancred in tow. I gave them a detailed report of all that transpired while keeping an eye out for any backstabbing Prettyboy might try to pull. Luckily he did not get the chance as the green haired catboi told him to follow the boat the minion used to see where it was going. Ha, Ha! Hope you get eaten by a slobbery thing traitor!
Alea: "Wow, Annabel just WON'T let it slide and forgive the poor guy for helping Wuk's brother."
Adora: " Yes, our sister tends to be a little.....obsessive of slights against her at times to the point of being a total bitch about it."
Alea: "Considering she's a total bitch most of the time, I'm kind of surprised anyone really notices it."
Adora: "Alea, be nice to your sister, even if it IS a struggle at times."
Alea "You got THAT right!"
With nothing more to do in the jungle, we trudged back to Many Fires to meet up with the other Scions and to get me changed out of this, by now VERY hot, fancy garb of mine. Back in my much lighter blouse and skirt, I found the others talking heatedly and pointing at me. I groaned as I knew what THAT meant, they have me doing something really stupid that I would NOT like.
Sure enough, that's exactly what it was. THAT'LL teach me not to be late to meetings!
Alea: "Phhht, please. If Annabel is ever early for something, the world would end."
Adora: "I believe it almost did Alea."
Alea: "Did NOT Adora. Ugh, again with that!"
So what did they want me to do? Only the WORST thing imaginable.......catch that smelly mount! I mean REALLY?
Oh you can BELIEVE I went off on a Bitchy tantrum, but got stopped by stupid Mini Minnie, who pointed out that Wuk needed to be saved and they didn't have time for my antics. Fuming, I said; "FINE! but as soon as we have Wuk I WILL revisit this and it WON'T be pretty!"
You know sisters, when people say experience the wonders of the local wildlife while on vacation, I don't think they meant having to trample through a humid jungle to try to find and RECAPTURE them!!!!!
Tural; Absolutely a TURD of a place! Bleh!
Adora: (sighs) "Annabel, WHY do you have to be so crude?"
Alea: "Honestly Adora, I get worried when she ISN'T being crude."
Adora: ".......sometimes I REALLY hate this family......"
So back out into the jungle I want with Bun Bun Erenville in tow to find horrible smelly water beast. And of course since it is near water I was knee deep in muddy river water most of the time looking for it. And let me tell you sisters, walking shoeless on rocky riverbed is NO fun! (cause there was NO way I was ruining my pumps!) At least my skirt was short enough not to get wet.
Adora: "WHAT! Annabel, what ARE you wearing that your knees are not covered up?"
Alea: "Oh boy, Annie's in for it now......."
Adora: "Oh is she ever......"
So, wading in the river I had to spread this smelly food mix all over the place in the hope of attracting the beast. Why yes, it IS as miserable as it sounds! Sigh, from champion of the world to creature herder, I REALLY hate my life.....
Eventually the thing showed up, attracted to the food we had spread around. I sighed in relief, for my poor feet could not take much more from all that walking on those damn rocks. Bun Bun soon had the thing on a leash and we led it back to the Fire place.
(Ok, I will totally admit that despite the smell, I rode on the thing on the way back, cause my feet NEEDED a rest! Boy did I reek though afterwards.)
Adora: "Serves you right Annabel, tramping about in more ways than one."
Alea: "Adora! Why can't Annie wear something cooler? I mean it IS a jungle, surely it is pretty icky there with the heat and all."
Adora: "Alea, Ladies always look modest no matter what the conditions are, ALWAYS. I trust YOU will not be weak like our addle minded sister?"
Alea: (gulps) "Of course not, remember Mother DOES pick my outfits still."
Adora: "True, but I WILL be keeping my eye on you dear, weakness does become you....."
Alea: "Boy, when people say you hate fun, they ain't kidding."
Adora: "Alea!"
Back at the encampment, the others told us with the help of the potsworn they managed to repair the harness, so the only thing needed was to re-leash Smelly and get the boat into gear. Since I was already riding the thing, I decided to just stay put and get an easy ride all the way to the boat.
It did not take long to get the boat back in working order and we were off as we followed Prettyboy's dubious directions to where Wuk was being held. Because I now smelled like the beast, I got sequestered to the bow where the mount was so I wouldn't stink up the boat. Look, NOT my fault! Next time don't send ME for stupid things like that!
Alea: "Honestly, she should be used to it, she got 'sequestered' all the time back home."
Adora: "Alea, I believe those were self imposed by Annabel herself to avoid stuff she didn't want to do."
Alea: "Oh yeah, I DO remember when they had to manually remove her door and all the furniture plied up against it to get to her. And they say Annie has no motivation...."
Adora: (sighs) "The WRONG type dear....."
After a couple of hours, we finally reached our destination. I was in a foul mood having been drenched by the river spray the mount had made while traveling, so I was NOT in the mood for any annoying crap. As suspected, that two-headed Fat ass Bakool Ja Ja was the one responsible for Wuk's disappearance.
Seeing us, he quickly grabbed Wuk and threatened to harm her if we tried anything. Being in the mood that I was, I walked up to him, fire wand blazing, saying, "please try it, I am soooo in the mood for Lizard flambe'" (and I really WAS too, I hear it's very tasty!)
Since the lizards were distracted by me, Prettyboy was able to maneuver around Bakool and snatch Wuk, getting her to safety. This left me three perfect targets to fry. But as usual, lousy Mini Minnie killed my fun saying we needed to leave them alive because of the contest.
(ugh, I swear! That annoying Lala REALLY needs to get kidnapped again, and SOON!)
Making some excuse that he could not stand the smell that human pink Tart was making, Fat Ass took his minions and slunk off through the trees. I, of course, jeered him as he left, and lobbed a fireball or two for good measure.
Alea: "Hmmm, do you really think Annabel would have fried that lizard thing?"
Adora: "I highly doubt it. Even with Annabel's temper, she's mature enough to have SOME restraint."
Alea: "Restraint, Annabel? Ok, now I am SURE she would have done it, NO doubt!"
Adora: "......."
With Wuk rescued, this little alliance with Koana and the traitors was done and they soon left to plot new bad things against me. I WILL be prepared next time though! Wuk was REALLY upset that Fat Ass was able to steal her Pot stone, but we reassured her that we would get it back before the end of the contest.
Honestly, I hope this teaches her a lesson to USE her companions to help protect her and keep her from doing stupid things, like getting kidnapped. Wait, WHAT am I saying? I don't WANT her to have me do MORE stuff, I'm on Vacation damn it!

Alea: "What, she wrote this while STILL smelling? Give me that letter Adora!" (takes letter and smells it.) "Ugh, that smell is STILL on it, If that is what Annie smelled like, no WONDER no one wanted to be near her. Burn this thing!"
Adora: (snatches letter from Alea) "No it's not getting burned, it's going with the rest of them."
Alea" "Well get the servants to wash it or something before it makes all the rest of them smell."
Adora: (gives the letter a sniff, frowns) "Er, you may be right. I'll take it to my maid."
Alea: "Thank the twelve. I am telling you Adora, if THAT is what happens from adventuring, I want NO part of it!'"
Adora: "YOU, on an adventure? Alea, now THAT would be a comedy of errors." (Walks off with letter)
Alea: (chuckles as she pulls out her Orchid ring to look at it) "If only you knew dear sister."
