Ahki is extremely passionate and strong willed. She acts on her emotions, often putting her in tough situations. Her passion carries into her fighting style. While a skilled marksman, Ahki is anything but patient--often never sitting still. In alliance meetings, she’s always fidgeting with her hands. Ahki finds excitement in almost anything. She brings a happier air to traveling and is a loyal and trustworthy companion. She cares for her family, friends and anyone she meets. Often being the first one to offer kindness to enemies turned allies. While many, including Rhiki’to, think this trait is going to be her downfall: Ahki disagrees. She believes in putting kindness out into the world, even when you don’t expect it back.

Ahki is skilled with technology and often plays a big roll in the party's on the go missions. She is also support, using bows and now, dancer chakrams.

As the story goes on, Ahki becomes more self dependent, and is able to support herself without the assistance of other players. She learns that physically, she may be weaker compared to some, that doesn't mean she can't fight in the front lines like everyone else. At the end of Stormblood, she's in a happy long-distance relationship with Estinien, which they got together at the end of the Dragonsong War. She also is more skilled in some forms of magic, but doesn't prefer to dabble in it. She has a heavy dislike for the Garlean Empire for the effects its left on society, and is willing to do whatever it takes to end their reign.

In Norvrandt, Ahki drops her bow for dancer chakrams. She becomes extremely connected with the dancer job, and permanently switches her preferred weapon. Becoming a Warrior of Darkness was a stressful time in Ahki's life. Especially with the fact she was slowly becoming a sin eater. She comes closer to terms to morality and the possibility of her dying before all her work is finished. The life she would leave behind and her love. At the end of her time in Norvrandt, Ahki returns to Eorzea, spending time with her friends and Estinien before heading out to her next adventure.
