Character

Fenris swapped from his lance and drew a sword. His blade clashed with Rave's and sparks flashed as they continued to strike each other.

"Fenris! Get a hold of your self!" Rave said as he dodged a thrust from Fenris. Fenris gave a devilsh grin as elbowed Rave in the gut. Rave stumbled back gripping his stomach. He looked to Fenris who had rushed him, leaving Rave little time to defend. Fen put on a toothy grin, Rave's eyes grew wide as he saw Fenris's blade swing towards him. Rave felt an excruciating pain shoot through his body and he collapsed on the ground.

"R..Raaaave!!!!" Pan shrieked as she ran to his side. Fenris had turned his attention to Nael who had descended from her tower.

"The hero hero of light has been slain. Now, come let us awaken lord Bahamut, Snow." Nael said as she ushered Fenris to the allagan teleporter. Pan gripped the fallen miqou'te in her arms and sobbed heavily into his chest. Her right hand surged with pain forcing her to grip it.

Fenris and Nael entered the teleporter. Geld holding his shoulder came to aid Pan. "Why.. why did Fenris do this to him?" She sobbed. Geld watched the lifeless miqou'te.

"We have to go after Fenris...."

In the final room of the second coil, Fenris observed the floating allagan structures. A magic circle sat on the floor before him. "Now Fenris. Take your blade, the one that had slain the hero of light and place it in the seal here." Nael said as she pointed to a spot on the circle. Fenris walked towards it, he pulled out the blade in question, and shot a blast of dark energy at Nael.

"You dare defy me?!" She bellowed. Fenris clenched his fist. "I'd never team with you. The murderer of my mother. The reason Ishgard fell in the first place!"

"But you re darkness! You are the opposite of everything THE HERO OF LIGHT STANDS FOR!" Nael shrieked. " Your anger, malice, and rage should have consumed you!"

The allagan teleporter flashed. From the light, Pan, and Geld stepped through. "Just because he is the Hero of Darkness, doesn't mean he's evil."

Rave stepped through the light. "No! Impossible! I saw him cut you down!" Nael was beside herself. Bewildered Rave stood before her. "Clever use of your sword brother. That hilt really hurts." Rave said rubbing his stomach.

"You... you dare make a fool of me?! I'll see you all slaughtered before lord Bahamut!" Nael screamed. A dark red aura enveloped her. In a blast of aetheric energy, Nael transformed. She grew wings, similar to a dragons, her feet became more dragonic as well.

"Come Heroes! I shall see you dead at the tip of my lance!" Nael growled. Rave drew his blade and stood beside Fenris. "Brother... I had been blinded by rage and anger. The woman who had slain our dear mother stands before us. Is it time for us to finally close that chapter of our lives and begin anew?" Fenris flipped his visor up. His eyes pierced into Rave's. Rave placed his hand on Fenris's shoulder. He nodded. "Aye. It's time to put an end to it all brother."

Rave dashed forward confronting his blade with Nael's lance. Steel on steel clashed with one another as Rave dodged her strikes as the two clashed. Fenris attacked with his blade, but Nael dodged his strikes completely. "Is that all you've got? The heroes are no where near as strong as I had thought. Nael vanished from their sight, Rave felt her touch his back. He dropped to the ground in fatigue. "The hells?!" He said gasping for air.

"Rave?!" Pan said as she came to his aid. "Rave what's wrong? What hurts?" She said looking over him for injuries.

"Pan! Get away from him right now!!!" Fenris shouted, Pan looked to the miqou'te confused.
"Why would I leave him...." at that moment, Rave exploded with aetheric energy. Sending the tiny mage flying across the room. "Momomi!!!" Rave shouted, as he spit some blood from his mouth.

Pan let out a groan as she rubbed her head. She held her arm, realizing it was now broken. She slowly got to her feet, wincing in pain. "Behold the power of a god.... may you be crushed under his might!!!" Nael said as she raised and pointed her lance to the weakened lalafell. Meteors began to fall around Pan, she braced for their impact. "I may be a starcaller, but this is ridiculous!" She said using her free hand to cast a fire spell to deflect what she could. She fell to her knees, exhausted on mana. She simply closed her eyes and awaited the impact. A loud clang caused her to open her eyes. Rave stood before her, a shield in hand. His beaten and bloodied body buckled under the weight of the meteor meant to flatten Pan. With as lough grunt, Rave expended all his aetger tgrough the shield, shattering the shield along with the meteor. He fell down as Pan helped ease his fall.

"I'm glad you're ok Momomi..." he said giving ass weak smile. "Enough of this. I grow bored of this game!" Nael snarled Rave saw her fly to the sky. He couldn't move. His body was just about out of energy. "Goodbye hero of Light!" Nael said as shouts she came hurling towards Rave.

"Brother!!!!!" Fenris said as he leapt to them. Rave's eyes grew wide as the events unfolded before him in what felt like slow motion. Fenris landed before Rave and spread his arms as a shield. Fenris roared in pain as Rave felt the warm blood of Fenris splash upon him. Nael's lance pierced his abdomen. Fenris grabbed the lance and stared Nael in the eyes. "You've taken my family before, but never again!" He snarled as blood dropped from his mouth. He unleashed a blast of dark aura at Nael, forcing her backwards. Fenris stumbled backwards, before falling back into Rave, who gently set him down. Rave's eyes were wide in shock as he saw a puddle of his brothers blood spread from underneath him.
Fenris placed his hand on Rave's shoulder. Rave gripped it tightly. He said weakly,

"Rave... Ishgard' future... is.. in your hands..."
