Going out and taking a stroll in the Gridania Woods was supposed to be a great experience for a young Alchemist like me.. or so I thought at the time before my life took a turn of the unexpected.

I saw a craft flying overhead with a black trail of smoke and decided to follow it. I had believed there may be survivors, and I wasn't let down. Two individuals had leapt off the ship as it went down only to find me. Soon afterwards of noticing me, we had company in the form of a pack of wolves, which my not so elite rock throwing moves seemed to distract them long enough for the strangers to make short work of the beasts. And once we thought that was over, we unknowingly ran into a treant who demolished a trail as we fled it.. only to have us all become frozen as many moogles flew by us, and calmed the treant in their passing and we were saved with the help of an elite group from Gridania.
