Monday Afternoon/EveningA good afternoon/evening today. And
yangwright as well as
jayhotlaps dropped by for a while. And a new visitor named
Tsinabi, a game dev for Riot Games, also came by. He gifted me a game called
Deadly Days: Roadtrip, which I'll probably try out at some point.
But anyway, for the session it was the usual
Path of Achra and
HoloCure. In Achra, it went pretty badly. I tried a new
Diablo 2 Plagazon-like character that went absolutely nowhere. One time I got killed in the very first area! So, I just spent some time doing Maqbara endless runs for the rest of the session instead. Sheesh!
HoloCure however, went better. I did some more experimental "
stand still" runs with
Watame,
Fauna, and
Sana, but they didn't work out all that well (Watame was the best of the worst though, lasting almost 35 minutes in endless mode). So, it looks like the grand prize still goes to
Noel for this kind of playstyle. But I
DEFINITELY had to call it off at this point, since I was falling asleep. And my whole right leg was kind of sore as well.
TuesdayAnd this morning's Pinball stream was a good one, but mostly because
white_wimmin came by, bringing the chat.
Pinball Arcade was good for the most part, reaching the Top 5 high scores on a few tables. But towards the end, it was like all my Pinball skills just up and left me, playing some of the worst Pinball ever. Yeah, I had to call it off at that point, before I started throwing my controller around or doing something else equally ragey. So much for that. *sigh*
And this afternoon's streams went pretty well, albeit dead (only
yangwright came by during HoloCure). I went ahead and did a Deadly Days stream. Pretty good game. It's borderline unstreamable though, slowing to a crawl when there's too much going on (a fairly graphics-intensive game, believe it or not). It's good as a backup game though, if I don't want to stream my main games for whatever reason.
And HoloCure went good, albeit sleepy (Okay, I
THOUGHT I had a good solid 7 hours of sleep. Guess not, it seems *sigh*). It was all
Fubuki this time, doing a few stage clears. She's a good
stand still character, just like
Noel. But yeah, after about 90 minutes I had to call it off, as I was practically on fumes at this point, despite good sleep (had to make a food run as well, before it got dark).

An okay Pinball stream this morning. This was one of those sessions where I'd do great on my first ball, but I'd suck total ass on the rest of them. Oh, and I went ahead and played some
Pinball FX3 this time, but just long enough to do the Space Station tournament that
ShadowTronics had created (and he raided me as well. Thanks for that!) It was all Pinball Arcade otherwise. Oh, and
white_wimmin came by as well to hang out.
And that's that on that. Another workweek has begun. So,
