Elezen and Elvaan ( differences )

Public
elezen - have thick full pointy ears that only point level and outward , illongated arms and legs with a reletivly even slender body frame with no real excentuated curves combined with hight whitch limits size customization and there natural adaptations as well as affinity for magic differ in a few ways although type related there a whole new species. Elvaan - have thin long pointy ears that point in ( even with head ) and always either up or diagnal up never straight out unless drawn poorly or in attempt to show ear type in any available way . thease creatures are of documented myth as such do have a set look to them although the common misrepresentations puts a wider scope on there look .they are slightly taller then humans there stature only slightly differs from that of normal humans with there dementions only differing in key places there hands and forarms are same size to slightly illongated there waist unnaturaly small with excentuated hips and thighs there magic affinity depends on breeding ( blood, night or hybrid elf ) there are more differences but you get the jist :)

with this many differences it makes calling them the same like saying texas toast is the same as french toast ( not even in the same class lol ) anyways imagin for a second the customzational freedom u could have if they also added elvaan types think hard at this ( i imagin a panther choural or wolf transformation in place of sprint , being able to use former speels like drain exceptionaly well things like that ..

in any case there to differant to be called the same and in alot of ways to simmilar to be in the same game but putting them side by side in the same game would deffinatly show there worlds apart

The ffxi elvaan was actually very much like the ffxiv Elezen. They gave us way more customization options in this game. The second image above I believe is of a world of warcraft blood elf which was petite with ears that shot up just like you said. As someone who has played all of those races as a main, they are all adorable and fun in their own way.

They're not the same, because that's not an elvaan, it's a blood elf. An entirely different game with entirely different lore and entirely different races.

i of ofcurse agree there totally differant in looks stature and hstory and i hate that ppl are so single minded to lump them together as if there branches of tge same race .... as for the blood elf elvaan is the racial name for elf ... w.o.w. was made baseing itslf around the mythical races alrady inexistence

as in to count high/blood elf or dark/night elf. elf is the indivitual racial name for the enirety of the race . there are universal terms that can be used to describe a type but its relation is to location not race or creed racial descriptions run in singular to multi descriptve terms example - she is the blood elf queen . queen of the elvaan race . its common to mix up since anime and games dont follow accual language rules

hmmmm that might still be 2 complicated a explination .... ok ummmm ok i got it saing elf is like saying black or white or spanish or watever cuse if there a elf there gonna be either haf elf blood elf night elf and so on but saying elvaan is like saying human cuse it addresses all the types as one ..... get it ?? this is hard i would mak a horrible teacher

I know this is Very old but in the lore. The Elvaan from ff11 are the ancestors of the Elezen. ff14
