Training Chocobo Through StableAs you get the access to a stable, every hour you can train the Chocobos currently stabled there, your's and other player's. Doing so will give experience points to the trained Chocobo.
Chocobo FoodTo train a Chocobo, you need to have Chocobo food to reward it. Several type of Chocobo food are available: Krakka Root, Curiel Root, Sylkis Bud, Pahsana Fruit, Tantalplant, Mimett Gourd and Thavnairian Onion.
All these foods will give the same amount of experience points.
Krakka Roots can be grown from
Krakka Roots Seeds sold by Material Suppliers in Residential Areas or

The seeds grow in 3 days and gives 9 Krakka Roots with normal soil, 11 with Shroud Top Soil Grade I, 13 with Shroud Top Soil Grade II, 18 with Shroud Top Soil Grade III.

Only Curiel Root, Sylkis Bud, Pahsana Fruit, Tantalplant and Mimett Gourd can be a favorite food, not the Krakka Root nor the Thavnairian Onion.
You can change the favorite food by training your Chocobo 10 time with another food, always the same.
If you don't want to change your Chocobo favorite food, be careful to train it with this food or Krakka Roots, or to vary the food as to not give it 10 time in a row the same food.
As you can't set a favorite food for other players Chocobo, if other players are feeding your Chocobo, they won't be able to set a favorite food for your Chocobo nor to reset it, no matter which food is used.

Training TimersThere are two timers for Chocobo training: one concerning the owner, one concerning every other players.
The owner timer means that every hour, the owner can train it's own Chocobo, no matter if someone else have trained it in the same hour or not.
The other players timer means that every hour, anyone can train your Chocobo, no matter if you have trained it in the same hour or not. This timer concern all the other players, meaning that two players can't train the same Chocobo, that is not theirs, in the same hour.
When a Chocobo goes in the stable, nobody except the owner can train it for the first hour.
Ranking Up in the StableIn the stable, Chocobos can't rank up. Once their experience bar is filled, their rank number shows in orange in the stable menu and a warning message willl tell anyone wanting to train it that no experience will be gained.
Once your Chocobo experience bar is full, in order to make it rank up, you have to take it back from the stable and call it in a battle you would gain experience from.
If you are already maximum level and wants to give experience to your Chocobo, there is two options: either you can do FATEs with your Chocobo, or you can battle ennemies whose level are down to 10 yours (i.e. if you're level 80 you can battle level 70 ennemies and your Chocobo will get experience).
