Been a busy week so far, what with Endwalker announced and all, Valerie moving towards the back half of the 4.0 story, leveling WHM (up to 77 now!), Bozja rank 10, and as mentioned above, finally beating E10S! This was also after doing our E9S reclear (my 6th one so far), I got my first bit of loot: The necklace that I'd already spent my tokens on! Not sure whether to use on RDM or NIN, whatever will be the main DPS job for me to use.
To celebrate, I decided to share with everyone my current 20 Glamour plates, which are probably my favorite glams seeing as I keep them in the plate. I tend to cycle between different glams for raid nights so many of them see use all the time; currently, I'm using more "serious" glams this week, though the past few weeks I'd had more casual glams. I wanted to list all 20 of my glamour plates, but there's a character limit on the Lodestone and all.
There's a few pieces that I tend to use through most glams. The Baron Earrings are one I've used a lot since 2.0. The Meteor Survivor's Ring is one I have on most of the time as well. The Far Eastern Schoolgirl's Hair Ribbon looks great and I use it for most glams. For WAR, of course we've got our Minos Lux, for NIN, the Dead Hive Kris (or current resistance weapon), and for WHM lately I'm using the Sophic staff. I've recently liked a lot of pieces like the Endless Summer Top, the Far Eastern Schoolgirl's Boots, the Southern Seas Skirt, and others.
Some of the glams are original ones, but a great many I've gotten the ideas from Fashion Ninjutsu (
), a glamour-related FFXIV blog, or Eorzea Collection (
), a site where people share their glams. I'll try to provide a link to the source sets if possible, and I'll try to list the pieces as well. Assume each are undyed unless stated otherwise. I'm going to be going partially based off of memory here, maybe if I'm unsure what exact color or piece it was, I'll come back and edit it in after I play next time. I'm going to list some of the key pieces that are job-specific I like (like the weapon) but maybe not all the specific accessories and such.
Now then, there's a lot of glams to get through, so let's get to it! These will be based in the order of glam plates 1-10 which are in no particular order there. Assume for WAR, the weapon is Minos Lux, for NIN it's Dead Hive Kris, for WHM it's the Sophic WHM weapon, for RDM it's the red PotD weapon and all of them have Baron Earrings and Meteor Survivor Ring on. Next time we'll look at glam plates 11-20.
Glam #1: One Night in LimsaHead: Far Eastern Schoolgirl's Hair Ribbon (Metallic Purple)
Body: Endless Summer Top (Metallic Purple)
Hands: False Nails (Metallic Purple)

Feet: Endless Summer Sandals (Metallic Purple)
This is a fairly simple glam, one of the many I found on Eorzea Collection. Took a while to save up gil for the Quan! I actually had this the first time I raided with the static. Sometimes I use this on WHM instead of WAR. I added the ribbon and false nails to the glam to spice it up a bit.
Glam #2: Festival YukataHead: Far Eastern Schoolgirl's Hair Ribbon

Probably my only current Eastern-themed glam lately, this is one of many glams I found from Eorzea Collection user Plu Patredis of Spriggan. Seriously, their glams are awesome! I don't have the moogle mask and tend to like my ribbon more, so went with that. The original also has Namazu Bell for a neck piece. I thought of using the Cait Sith Ribbon instead, but Valerie suggested that there'd be too many ribbons going on, especially with the head ribbon I like a lot. I wore this one to that FC member's wedding recently.
Glam #3: At SunsetHead: Black Cherry Blossom Corsage

I was really wanting something to use my Hyuran race-specific equipment with and liked the combination of the female Hyur body piece and the Songbird Skirt. Though Valerie pointed out the middle of the skirt in front looks kinda "busy" with the Chemisette also there. But it looks great, especially from the back!

Here's one I kind of changed quite a lot from the version on EC, actually similar to a look I had back in HW except with blue instead of red. It brings back memories of those times but with blue, which Valerie said she likes on this one. She said she likes the short skirt better as well!

Ah, our first selection from the blog Fashion Ninjutsu. They always have really awesome glams that tend to look great, but also more suited for combat and match the jobs listed. I didn't like the way the Pagos Bandana looks with my current hairstyle so I've brought back that ribbon again. I like using the SB WAR AF, I usually can't find a way to work AF into stuff.
Glam #6: Dark ForcesHead: Far Eastern Schoolgirl's Hair Ribbon

Hands: Hraesvelgr Gloves
Legs: Bunny Chief Tights
Feet: No.2 Type B Boots
I was wanting to use the Exarchic caster body from the moment I saw it, and finally I ended up finding a decent one on EC that's great. I added the ribbon of course, and as I could not afford the exarchic gloves at the time, I used the Hraesvelgr Gloves I had on hand. One of the better uses of the 2B boots I think and the Bunny Chief Tights. This is what I use on RDM atm.
Glam #7: White LotusHead: Far Eastern Schoolgirl's Hair Ribbon
Body: Faire Joi (Pure White)
Hands: False Nails (Dalamud Red)
Legs: Quan (Metallic Gold)
Feet: Eastern Lady's Crakows
Man, there's a lot of glams on EC that have the Faire Joi and Quan combined. This is my current WHM glam I use. Took a bit to save up the pure white dye which definitely looks better than snow white. I didn't have the fairy princess heels but I thought the crakows fit as well so added it in. Maybe I'd have used the Ribbon if I had another pure white dye available, but I didn't so went to my usual ribbon. Valerie likes this glam more than Glam #1 which has the Endless Summer Top.
Glam #8: KoeHead: Black Cherry Blossom Corsage

I was looking for some kind of spy-lady looking glam, and found this one on EC. I started out using it with WAR, but then switched to using it on NIN while leveling. Might use it on WAR again at some point. I liked using the Gunmetal Black dye on this to make it extra shimmery.

Another NIN glam here, from the beginning of leveling NIN in ShB I knew I wanted to get the Crystarium body piece. I do like my ribbon so ditched the necklace and used the usual ribbon (though might change at some point). I'm enjoying this set so far, but might change the boots to something else, maybe the Scion Healer's boots.

I really wanted to use this body piece on something, so used it on this pretty good one from EC. Not exactly in my current style, but I think it's good. I do like the Quaintrelle's Hat, but I still like my usual ribbon more.
And there you have it. My first 10 glam recommendations based on my current 1-10 glam plates. I change my glams almost daily (lol) and change out the glam plates a lot. Next time on the WAR blog, we'll look at the second 10 glams, plates 11-20!
