To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, we tasked the English voice talent behind Estinien, Thancred, Alphinaud, and Alisaie to recreate the wonderful 8th Birthday Cake that was made by Bake Off star Kim-Joy in 2021.

Mentors in the voice booth, sprouts in the kitchen!

You may remember the exquisite creation that Great British Bake Off star Kim-Joy made for us for FFXIV’s 8th Anniversary back in 2021 – if not, check out the video below to get you prepped:

Now that we’ve seen how a real professional does it, let’s see how our intrepid bakers managed after watching the above video just once, before attempting to recreate areas of the cake with absolutely no further guidance!

As you may have guessed, it’s safe to say they may be “mentors in the voice booth, but they’re sprouts in the kitchen”! That said, we think you’ll agree that the teams get an “A” for effort in making their creations, which you can watch below:
