Hello and thank you for considering our invitation to The Rosebriar Coven! Forgive the crow who delivered it, she can be a rascal at times and quite enjoys shiny things. I will see to it that all personal artifacts are returned promptly. Feel free to look around the library as you wait.

The Rosebriar Coven (TRC) is a Sargatanas Free Company created to provide a safe place for socially anxious or casual individuals like you and me, while also offering a witchy name/perks for those who just want to lurk. We have a medium Empyreum house that acts as our headquarters and library. There definitely isn't a restricted section/sanctum with dangerous spellbooks in the basement -- just enjoy refreshments upstairs while reading perfectly legal material, or make use of the coven suppliers in the lobby :)

Why join us?
Have you ever attempted to join another coven, poured your heart into an introduction post, spent a half-hour meticulously editing it for tone and typos, then pressed send.... only to get a couple /waves and then be overwhelmed by other messages? Everyone else already established, leaving no room for you to squeeze in?

Or worse, have you joined another group, only to walk right into the middle of sweet, sweet drama? Sure, it can be fun to scroll through and see who injured the feelings of whom, but it is certainly not conducive to new members feeling welcome!

Lucky for you, TRC is starting fresh, so you can get in and not be overwhelmed by the goings-on of a huge group. I, Wyra Dakwhil, formed this FC after joining other FCs and deciding I'd prefer one that is of a more manageable size/maybe not so outgoing -- a lurker's paradise.

We offer regular freebies, and have company actions set so that anyone can activate them if they expire. There are also plans for events with prizes once we get big enough.

You may be a good fit for this FC if you:
- Want the benefit of company actions/a nice house to AFK in.
- Want to make a few friends.
- Want occasional help from other players on maps, roulettes, etc.
- Want to avoid drama/awkwardness from joining an already-established group.
- Want to run/learn content without the pressure of gotta-go-fast pulls or yelling after a wipe or two.
- Are 18+ (no minors, but no NSFW/ERP in public spaces, please).

We are tolerant of:
- Anxiety. If you are on busy, you won't be bothered. If you log in and don't respond to a private message, we're all good. Sometimes you just wanna log in and do your dailies by yourself, and that's fine! Respect boundaries.
- Slow learners. As long as you're not purposefully wiping, we're cool. We can practice mechanics and explain them if you ask!
- Parents (sometimes, you just gotta put down the game for a minute to stop someone from choking).
- Breaks. There are no activity checks.
- Alt characters.
- LGBTQIA+/POC.

We do NOT welcome:
- Any of the isms. Sexism/Racism/etc.
- Stalking/doxxing/etc.
- Spoiling MSQ. Let others enjoy the story! A slip-up on occasion is understandable/forgivable, but we strive to be newbie-friendly.
- Toxic attitudes. If the group isn't for you, leave. No hard feelings.
- Drama. Don't go looking for trouble where there isn't any. Don't harass anyone for their IRL or character's appearance, what ships they're into, what job they enjoy, etc. Don't shame someone for how they type or play.
- Trauma dumping. Everyone has rough days or weeks, and the past couple years have generally sucked. This doesn't apply to one-off comments about having a bad day or whatever, but the group shouldn't feel pressured to read all about a bad breakup, abuse, or IRL death in FC Chat. I'm happy to comfort anyone if they're having a rough time, but that should probably be in a private chat and not dwelled on publicly to the point others feel triggered themselves or unwelcome to discuss the game itself.

If you do any of the things forbidden above, you'll be put in time-out as a Sacrifice, and if the behavior is repeated (or if the original infraction is seriously, inexcusably awful), you'll be dismissed/chased away by a flock of crows. Don't make us do that, please.

Other details?
Founders are in CST and work day jobs, so evenings and weekends will be our most active times until others join.
