The Oldest House is a 18+ Final Fantasy XIV-centric Social/RP nexus created by weirdos, for everyone!

The community was founded a little under a year ago by Director Ama and President Tsuki, intended to be an E/RP server for ffxiv. As we hit our stride, we found that TOH had evolved in a way we didn’t foresee as a social nexus for people of all backgrounds to come together to goof off, chat, and make friends. We have embraced this idea since, and have been driven to maintain our welcoming, laid-back community of self-proclaimed freaks and degenerates.

We have an active core group of chatters that are always friendly and welcoming to newcomers! We have channels for chatting, sharing screenshots, party-finder, roleplaying, memes, music, and art, as well as plenty of age-restricted media channels. We also have a fun and games section with channels for truth or dare, never have I ever, would you rather, smash or pass, and more.

We host events and contests in the server and in-game where our members can enter to win prizes!

Our moderators are committed to the safety and security of our members. From the beginning, we didn’t want to helicopter moderate any more than absolutely necessary to ensure the community’s well-being, so as long as all members act within our reasonable rules and respect each other, we will likely never bother people for a few lines of light-RP in the chat channels, or using emojis in the RP channels.

We are LGBTQ+ friendly and accept RP characters from just about any source, not just Final Fantasy XIV. Along with the usual gamut of Miqo, Viera, Au Ra, etc, you may find eldritch horrors, formless entities, and dragons within the walls of the House!
