We here at AEGIS Company are looking to meet some new friends.

We’re not aiming to be a massive FC, a hardcore raid hub, or a 24/7 activity machine. Think of us more as a clubhouse: a social space for people who enjoy hanging around familiar faces while playing the game their own way.

A lot of us come from the old-school MMO era and we still carry a bit of that mentality into XIV.

We like communities where people actually know each other, where conversation matters, and where the social side of the game is just as important as progression. If you’re an old XI veteran looking for that kind of atmosphere again, you’ll probably understand our vibe pretty quickly.

Some of us raid. Some craft. Some collect mounts, live in glamour, or disappear for a month between patches and suddenly reappear like nothing happened. Most of us are adults with different schedules and different interests, but we stick around because the social atmosphere matters more than forcing everyone into the same playstyle.

We’re looking for people who:

Are socially outgoing or at least enjoy chatting
Can handle sarcasm and dark humour
Don’t thrive on drama
Understand that people can disagree without turning it into a tribunal
Want an FC that feels more like a long-term friend group than a recruitment machine

We are NOT an ERP or RP Community

We’re newbie-friendly, returning-player-friendly, and generally welcoming to anyone looking for a roof over their head and people to talk to while they enjoy the game.

We run buffs, help with content, treasure maps, mount farms, old/new duties, and random nonsense whenever people feel like it. Nobody’s required to participate in everything.

A fair warning though: we are not heavily moderated or ultra-filtered socially. We respect boundaries, backgrounds, orientations, and playstyles, but we also value people having a sense of humour and reasonably thick skin. If you’re looking for a highly curated safe-space environment, we may not be the right fit.

Most of us use Discord for text and voice chat, and that’s where a lot of the social side of the FC happens.
