About Free Companies

A community to play together with friends on the same World.

Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.
About Linkshells and Cross-world Linkshells

A dedicated chat channel for players who share a common aim.

Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.
Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.
Cross-world Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same data center.
About PvP Teams

A team dedicated to enjoying PvP duties.

Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.
PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.

Welcome to Ex Animo, a vibrant and welcoming Free Company born from the heart, where camaraderie and community is what we cherish the most! Ex Animo is something we created for ourselves and everyone else, so that the game can be enjoyed as it's meant to be - with fun, alongside friends !

Named after the Latin phrase meaning "from the heart," Ex Animo embodies the spirit of genuine connection and friendship. With a growing community of quite a few members, we strive to be social, instead of the usual good ol' "join for buffs and never interact with each other" type of FC.
Everyone is welcome to check out our Discord before they make the big decision of joining our FC, to see if the they like the vibes! :D

At Ex Animo, we've learned from our past experiences, valuing open communication and teamwork above all. We simply want to foster an environment where everyone feels heard and welcome! We're here to make memories and share experiences.

Speaking of experiences, in this case past ones - while the words 'drama free' may strike fear into your heart (as it should, this is FFXIV after all, nothing here is ever truly drama free), I feel it's important mentioning that we try our hardest to foster a community that minimizes said drama and those negative aspects. There's zero tolerance for things like racism, misogyny, all the phobias (not including actual ones of course '^^) etc, and we do truly try our best to deal with things as quickly as possible.

We may not be the biggest Free Company, but we're proud of what we have. We prioritize quality over quantity, ensuring that each member has the chance to actively participate and make a meaningful impact, which is also why we have a soft-cap (soft enrage? :o) of 90 members and a 100 hard cap, just in case some of you want to bring friends along for the ride in the future. If you're seeking a group where your contributions matter, and where fun is at the core of our adventures, Ex Animo is the place for you. ^^

Some info about our community so you can get a general idea of us? The best way to put it is that we're more about vibes than anything else; we want people to have fun, we want to joke around with each other and banter and enjoy some funny shenanigans here and there, we want to create a safe space and most importantly a space that makes you feel welcome! And if that info isn't enough you're more than welcome to join the FC for a bit and just... y'know, check us out! You can always leave if you don't like it :D being genuine here, not sarcasm (What's this, a person leading an FC, not begging you to join? Heresy) You'll see people of all age groups in here, though mostly from early 20s to late 30s!
We believe that everyone should be in an FC they feel fits them the best, though we do hope this is the one for you.

{Do note that our actual vibe is usually more chaotic than a proper put together advertisement like this, more like Ex ADHDnimo...}

If you're looking for an FC that has:
No discrimination towards anyone, people who respect your free time, an LGBTQ+ friendly space, events galore including a static, high end and low end content and last but not least people that you can call friends?
Then we're right here for ya !

To be a bit more specific...!
What we offer :
- A safe and welcoming community for both players with real life jobs and players with too much time on their hands. High end enjoyers or sprouts, no matter where you're from who or what you are, we'd love to have you
- A social community, (there's always something going on around here, be it in the general discord chat or the in-game FC chat!)
- The ability for any member to create events! Also curated events from staff with one per week and some bigger seasonal ones as well (unless we're sick or IRL busy)
- A suggestions channel that gets looked at daily, where we try to incorporate things that make sense as quickly as possible
- One normal and one ultimate static, with the possibility of more being hosted in the future
- Constant in-game buffs !
- A beach house in Shirogane :>

Have been in this fab fc for two months. It's an inclusive, super chill and warm community with lots of love and respect for one another with lots of laughs, creativity and fun in between. Cosy enough to make friends easily and big enough that you’ll always come across a clannie in the open world. Can't recommend Ex Animo enough. Ezra & team we love you <3
