I joined Annabel for leveling roulette today. And boy it was FUN!
We got the level 75 MSQ dungeon. Annabel mentioned in her blog that she had some difficulty with this dungeon, so I pulled everything in sight to show her it was not that scary.
Annabel was in a panic... she kept saying things like "Sig I am going to KILL you!" and "Helltank, you SUCK!"
Meanwhile, I was thinking, "Relax! Things are totally under control." Lol!
I think PLD is actually very safe in dungeons, because Clemency and Shield Bash provide a wide safety net (albeit at heavy cost of dps), so we were able to complete the dungeon. To be fair, the healer does not know what defensive tools I will use, so I guess it is scarier to heal than tank.
That was the most fun leveling dungeon I've done in ages. We should get together and do it again!

Ugh, She made my life a living HELL! Believe me, EVERY moment I got a spare breath from healing, I royally bitched at Helltank for those massive pulls!
I was doing scholar, which I do NOT know at high levels! Even Sig commented that my healing numbers were low. I don't know how the high spells work and honestly, don't WANT to know, I'm just getting it to 80 then parking it. White Mage is my Beloved healer of choice.
And ANY rumors that I died multiple times in the dungeon are OUTRIGHT lies!!!!
And even MORE so, ANY rumors that Helltank managed to kill all the bosses that I (supposedly) died on, WITHOUT me being there healing, (including the Lightwarden) are LIES, LIES I TELL you!!!!!!!!

Annabel, one tip with scholar: healing is not your best way of keeping people alive :P Your best friends is Excogitation, it is a good safety net.
Yoru, I used that when I could, but honestly Sig never died, though her/his health got low at times.
Helltank has such a high I level that she can endure the hits, even with my crappy Scholar healing.
Ado and Excog are so awesome! They are my two favorite friends. They sound cool, they bring a smile to my face during wall to wall pulls, and 5 out 6 dentist recommend them.

Lol! The funny thing is, if it were some random DF healer and they said 'small pulls', I would most likely do small pulls. After all, it is not so nice to make some poor stranger freak out.
But since it is Annabel I thought, "you can heal in pvp, you can do this for sure! Full speed ahead!" And look, she did just fine! ;)
@ Anna, wouldn't level sync limit you to the stats of the max ilvl possible for that level though? At least, I don't think I had 145k hp, which is what I should have at 470, lol.
Personally, I credit the strength of PLD. Shield bash helps survive a lot. And Clemency (especially with Requiescat) heals for a ton - more than Cure 2. I got a 56k Clemency crit! Muhaha!
Yes Lolo! Although, doesn't Excog have a long cooldown. At least, I never saw SCH cast it in succession on me, lol.
We need cross-DC tech so that Felsea and Yoru can join us too...
I don't believe you about those small pulls, you would torture ANYONE! You better NOT have set a president for everyone that knows me to do super big pulls when I go on runs with them as a healer Helltank! Grrrrrrr!

And I did NOT do 'just fine' I died TWICE! Aggggggh!
And yes, Excog has a 45 sec timer so you can't use it much. you TRY and hope the timer is up before the next big pull.
