FFXIV will be attending Tokyo Game Show 2026, which begins on Thursday, 17 September at Makuhari Messe! This year, we’ll have a large screen playing videos including the Evercold trailer revealed at Fan Festival 2026 in Berlin, and a Meet & Greet featuring Moogle and Alpha.
Visitors to the booth will also receive a special bag featuring both FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION and FFXIV.

Moogle Treasure Trove - The First Hunt for Astronomy Commences 9 September!
It gives us great pleasure to announce the return of the Moogle Treasure Trove starting Wednesday, 9 September 2026!
This Moogle Treasure Trove will be a special edition to celebrate the upcoming release of Evercold, taking part across two instalments and with an even more exciting range of items, including a special reward: an uolon horn!
As well as bestowing irregular tomestones as usual, the First Hunt for Astronomy will also reward those who complete minimog and ultimog challenges with a unique item required to obtain the uolon horn. Details can be found on the special site below.
The First Hunt for Astronomy and the Second Hunt for Astronomy, to be held at a later date, will feature a different lineup of items and different tomestones required for exchange. However, please note that the uolon horn will be available in the Second Hunt as well.

* Irregular tomestones of astronomy I will not be awarded when using adventurer squadrons or the Duty Support system.

Regarding Subscription Fees for the Nintendo Switch 2 Version
The free subscription period for the full version of FINAL FANTASY XIV on Nintendo Switch™ 2, introduced to help ensure server stability, will end on Monday, 7 September at 23:59 in each region.
Accordingly, the 30-day free play period granted when registering the Starter Edition or Complete Edition will begin starting Tuesday, 8 September. Once this 30-day free play period has elapsed, a subscription fee will be required to continue playing.
