A month has already passed since the release of Patch 5.3. We all hope you've enjoyed it so far!

Since it was the conclusion of the Shadowbringers storyline, the patch contained quite a lot of exciting main scenario content.

While it was extremely story driven, experiencing the game as the protagonist provided a unique angle to the story; one that deviated from reading a novel or watching a movie but certainly more interactive.

It was truly amazing... I was on the edge of my seat for most of the main scenario!

Speaking of "the edge", I would like to share the lyrics for the amazing tune that plays during that ONE particular trial in the Patch 5.3 main scenario. Without further ado, here are the lyrics for To The Edge:

These lyrics are supposed to represent the characters involved in the Patch 5.3 trial. Those who became incapable of bringing things to an end, and those who arrived to bring closure... It's a pretty involved song but I feel it makes it all the more meaningful.

Your impression of the trial may have also changed now that with these lyrics in mind, so we recommend going through the trial again while paying attention to the song.
So now, not only must you battle the boss, but now you may have to battle those emotions within as well! (I'm not /cry-ing, you are...)

Additionally, a mini album, FINAL FANTASY XIV: SHADOWBRINGERS - EP2 containing To The Edge and other tracks from Patch 5.3 are now available for purchase.
