Testing of macOS’s latest version, Big Sur, with the Mac version of FINAL FANTASY XIV has been ongoing, with the aim of adding support for this version around the end of December. However, several issues have been confirmed during testing, so it will be difficult to begin support at the end of the month.

Testing will continue and we will provide another update about the outcome in due course.

If you are using the Mac version of FINAL FANTASY XIV, we recommend that you refrain from updating to macOS Big Sur until support has been confirmed please.
