We have some updates to share regarding the ongoing emergency maintenance on the FINAL FANTASY XIV COMPANION app.
We experienced high server congestion due to a large increase in usage of characters on the Japanese data centre Worlds. We then deployed temporary countermeasures during the emergency maintenance.
After lifting the maintenance temporarily, although we saw some improvement, high server congestion continued to occur.
In order to strengthen the server and alleviate the congestion, we will be extending the maintenance as we continue to monitor the situation.
