[Important]Important Notice about Software Tokens and Other Authentication Apps (Sep. 22)

If you are using a Software Token or another authentication app, please be sure to keep your Emergency Removal Password in a safe place. This password is required to regain access to your Square Enix account should you change phones or delete the app before removing the registered Software Token or authentication app. If you do not remove your Software Token/authentication app from your Square Enix account beforehand and no longer have your Emergency Removal Password, you will be unable to log into your game or other services using that account.

You can view your Emergency Removal Password on the One-Time Password page under Token Usage Status by logging into the Square Enix Account Management System (https://sqex.to/fHa).

Should you no longer have access to your Software Token/authentication app, you can remove it from your account using the Emergency Removal Password by visiting the following URL and following the on-screen instructions: https://sqex.to/GPE

Please note that the Emergency Removal Password can only be used once. If you re-register your Software Token or another authentication app afterwards, you will receive a new Emergency Removal Password.

If you still have access to your Software Token/authentication app but wish to remove it from your account, please log in to the Square Enix Account Management System (https://sqex.to/fHa), select One-Time Password followed by Software Token and follow the on-screen instructions.
