Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.
Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.
Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.
PvP duties: allow players to compete against one another in unique instanced arenas.30

Hi, i am looking for a late night community (starting after midnight), but i dont want to give up on my current fc since we founded it at the official release in 2013 and kept it up until today even with a handfull of members and have put our souls into it (4 maxed airships and 4 submarines). just wanted to say... if you need a hand on trials or raids, feel free to ask me. i can provida a tank or ranged dps. its hard to find regular groups for this time, but my work keeps me busy at the day, thx

Your FC looks fun.
I've being playing for a few years, but have never gone past the end of StB; I get bored and start with a new character.
I'm currently a summoner and am just starting Stb, with the intention this time of doing SB, but you never know. 8)
Not overtly social (always been used to solo games), but always love the feeling of community I get from saying hello to everyone online.
Went to the FC mansion (which is gorgeous) to leave a meesage, but the message book is full.

You would fit in perfectly good, since we have players progressing the story on different expansions and levels, and members who prefer to explore things more in their own peace but sometimes it is still nice to have others to chat and play with.
