The Winter Warden's Free Company is looking for recruits!

If you are looking to be a part of a comfy, quiet and friendly community that lets you explore the game and clear content at your own pace, look no further!

Whether you've been playing a long while, you're making a return to the game or are still the sproutliest sprout, so long as you want to enjoy the game and allow others do the same, you're a perfect fit. We're a cozy group that doesn't believe in forcing social interaction or content participation. Just know if you have questions or need help we're available! We're active throughout most days, but especially on the weekends. We try to organise a casual mount farm or something similar every other Saturday!

We place extra value on game/life balance! You shouldn't feel the pressure to be logged in 24/7. Game time should be relaxation time! We even made it a core principle of the FC that you only have to play as and when you want (which, yes, means you can take a break without fear of being kicked)! All we ask in return is for you to be a good FFXIV community member overall!

And make sure to bring your AFK jammies and winterwear, we have a Large House, cozily decorated in Empyreum (W13, P42). It has all the typical vendors and services already installed and we've already unlocked the most desirable workshop recipes!

Basics:

1. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to invite others.

2. Be respectful of each other. No one is perfect and disagreements happen. We expect people to act like adults, agree to disagree and move on. Life is too short.

3. You are never required to be super active to stay in the FC, socially or otherwise. We all have lives, and we want you to enjoy your time in game at your own pace. This makes us a very sleepy FC where mostly people are left to their own devices. So with that in mind...

4. Please do try and interact with your fellow members if they ask for help or say hi.

5. We are welcoming to everyone around the world, but are especially NA and EU friendly.

6. Join our community discord server to keep up with the latest news and developments and be part of our weekly giveaways! (Link is in the Free Company menu after you join)

7. If you have other suggestions please let us know directly!

Rules:

- Don't type anything you know you wouldn't say to an irl person.

- Don't spam but DO feel free to post again if you feel something you've said has been missed.

- Anyone involved in hateful conduct and/or harassment will be banned (you know the kind we're talking about).

- ERP and sexual comments towards community members have no place within the FC. What consenting adults do in private is no one's business, but be aware, that it will not be tolerated on FC grounds, and it will be on you to present proof of consent should anything go awry.

- Please keep personal drama out of the FC. Members are here to have a comfy time and play a video game. If you cannot resolve things amicably on your own, please talk to Elissa or the Mediator Team.

- If you feel like you've been treated unfairly or want to discuss anything, you can message one of the consuls (leaders) or mediators (officers/moderators).
