Free companies are player-run organizations which allow their members to pool resources, be it items or gil, to accomplish feats that would be difficult or impossible for a single individual.
The benefits of joining a free company include a dedicated chat channel for all members, the ability to purchase an estate to serve as the group's base of operations, and the use of free company actions that grant bonuses such as increased experience points.
No two free companies share the same goals and motivations, so be sure to choose the free company that's right for you.
Linkshells and cross-world linkshells are chat groups which allow for quick and easy communication between players who are not necessarily in a party or free company. Unlike free companies, players are able to join multiple linkshells, making it possible to join different communities dedicated to various aspects of the game.
Linkshells: allow communication with any players on the same World.PvP teams allow players to participate in team-specific ranked matches in the Feast. Team ratings are given based on performance in the Feast, with top-ranking PvP teams receiving special rewards, and the chance to participate in larger PvP events.
Teamwork is key, so be sure to find a team with whom you're confident you can hone your skills together.

Our Free Company is based around the spirit of cooperation. If you are friendly, helpful, responsible and committed, you will feel right at home with us! We are searching for casual players who would like to improve their levels and/or equipment, and sometimes you need the extra help to do that. That is what Edens Chosen is here for, to unite players, be friendly and be resourceful.
Even if you are not interested in raiding, we still like having friendly people, crafters for the housing, or just people to chat with during the slower times of Final Fantasy.
We are also established with the Club Community and are associated with the VIBE//TRIBE created by A'leycat. So feel free to join us on late nights and just party listening to DJ Blue on Twitch!
We also have access to Photographers ingame, one of which being the amazing Karhan!

Interested in joining the FC, tried to slide into the Discord to see if there was more info about doing so. Relatively new player who's got a few jobs to 60 so far, still getting my feet wet, and looking for a social, friendly community that can help with the game while offering opportunities to do more towards the end!
