Welcome to the Community Finder!

We are The Violet Tide <<WAVE>>, a small Free Company of a group of friends and we are looking to welcome a few more like minded people to join our shenanigans. Most of us here are 30+, have careers, families, and some have kids. While we maximize the fun, we also respect everyone’s play time and understand that real life comes first. We are the most active in the EST/CST evening hours, but a few of us also play during the day.

We are an inclusive FC who like to take a casual approach to content. We want to create a space where people can come together as a group to help each other reach our goals and maybe forge some friendships along the way! Our hope is that everyone can feel comfortable around each other and not be afraid to ask for or offer help. Egos and belittling others have no place here. If this sounds like it could be an issue, this may not be the right place for you. We realize this is just a game and treat it as such, so we ask that everyone acts like adults and treat each other with respect.

Currently the FC consists of players of all experience levels, ranging from ARR sprouts to mentors who have all jobs maxed. We like to help each other with MSQ, doing roulettes, mount farming, and running through raids.

We run various weekly events but they will continue to change and evolve as we grow and our members progress through different content.

Our current weekly events include:
- Level 90 Normal Raids
- Mount Farming
- Bozja / Eureka night
- Treasure maps
- EW EX farms
- Social events such as movie nights, clubbing nights, and in-game hide and seek

While we are fun and casual, we are serious enough that we have a static group interested in learning end game raids. We have gone through EX1-4 and are starting the first savage tier for most of the static members, and we are having lots of fun learning together. However, end game raiding is not a requirement to join The Violet Tide, we are happy to help you achieve your in game goals, whatever they may be!

We have a discord to chat about FFXIV, share pictures of our pets, and everything in between. We also have a medium FC house in Shirogane (Ward 5, Plot 45), please feel free to stop by and say hi!
