Who We Are
Academia Astra is an 18+ casual, friendly Free Company on Sargatanas that welcomes players of all kinds. From sprouts taking their first steps in Eorzea to seasoned veterans looking for a relaxed home.

We started out as a group focused on teaching new players, and while helping beginners is still part of who we are, our focus has grown into building a fun, social, and supportive community where members can enjoy Final Fantasy XIV together at their own pace.

Whether you’re here to run roulettes, dive into glam farming, hang out in voice chat, or just have people to chat with while you play, Academia Astra is here to give you a warm place to land.

Get Involved
While casual membership is the heart of our FC, we also have opportunities for members who want to be more involved. Whether you like hosting events, mentoring, or helping behind the scenes, there are plenty of ways to contribute. Paths include:

Mentorship: Helping newer players with questions or content
Social: Recruiting, hosting casual events, gposing & event photography
Content: Leading runs, map parties, extremes, Eureka, Bozja, etc.
Tradecraft: Crafting, gathering, and supplying the FC
Groundskeeping: Gardening, chocobo raising

Members who want to contribute more can apply for staff positions through Discord, with opportunities to grow into Officer roles over time. No prior officer experience required.

How to Join
Come visit our home in Empyreum, Ward 14, Plot 12. There are often members around who can invite you! You can also apply directly via the house placard.
