この部屋を初めて見た時は、何を見ているのかと思った。
機械生命体のそれとは違い、精巧に作られた『人形』。
あの２Ｐと言う女性型アンドロイドに非常に似ている『人形』達が横たわっている光景は、俺でも後ずさる。
確かにマネキンは有るには有るが、これらは何と言うか、『精巧過ぎる』のだ。
目鼻立ち全てが完璧な作りで、まるで眠っているかの様な錯覚に陥る。
しかし、彼女達はただそこに横たわっているだけ。それがまた不気味だった。
ただ、そんな彼女達だが、よく見てみると少し異なっている部分が有った。
それは、首に刻まれた数字の様なものだ。
調べてみると、『２Ｂ』と書かれていたり『Ａ２』と書かれていたりただ単に『No.４』、『No.１６』と書かれていたりと様々だ。
これは何か意味が有るのだろうか…？ますます謎が深まるばかりだ。
そう言えば２Ｂと書かれた個体、文字に何か妙な違和感を
感じたが…あれは気のせいだったのだろうか…？
