REVISED: Keeper of Moon, Keeper of Hope-Dreamie G.

Public
Dreamie Ganajya was born in the shadowy embrace of the Black Shroud, her birth heralded under the light of a full moon—a sacred symbol to her Keeper of the Moon clan. Her people lived as nocturnal hunters and guardians of the forest, their lives deeply intertwined with the cycles of the moon and the mysteries of the night. Dreamie’s parents, skilled archers and scouts, played pivotal roles in defending their village from poachers and Garlean incursions.

However, the peace of her childhood shattered when war reached their secluded corner of the world. Her parents fell in a desperate battle to protect their people, leaving Dreamie an orphan at a young age. In their stead, her grandmother took her in, a revered elder who embodied the clan’s traditions and wisdom. From her grandmother, Dreamie learned not only the art of the bow but also the importance of storytelling, a sacred practice among their people used to pass down history, inspire courage, and honor the fallen.

Dreamie’s clan lived by the tenets of self-reliance and preservation, values she internalized deeply. Yet, she often felt a longing for something more—an unspoken yearning to see the world beyond the dense canopies of the Shroud. This desire was tempered by her shyness and hesitancy to connect with those outside her clan. Though timid, Dreamie’s curiosity about the world beyond their borders only grew stronger as she matured.

Her journey began when she ventured out to Gridania, drawn by tales of adventurers who braved the wilds. She found herself captivated by their courage and tales of faraway lands, but she also realized how dangerous the world could be. Her confidence as a Bard—one who could inspire and protect—began to grow, but she still lacked the means to confront threats head-on.

It was in Kugane, a bustling port city far removed from the quiet of the Black Shroud, where Dreamie encountered a figure who would change her life. A former shinobi, impressed by her agility and precision, offered to teach her the ways of ninjutsu. Dreamie was hesitant but saw an opportunity to combine stealth and combat in a way that honored her clan’s emphasis on protecting the weak while moving unseen, much like the nocturnal hunters she revered as a child.

Dreamie embraced the training, learning to meld her Bardic prowess with the swift and silent techniques of the Ninja. Her daggers became an extension of her bow, a close-range counterpoint to her long-distance precision. Over time, she became a formidable adventurer, her abilities allowing her to strike from both the shadows and the treetops.

Despite her growing reputation, Dreamie remains grounded in her roots. She continues to honor her clan’s traditions, weaving their stories into her adventures and preserving their legacy through her actions. Her kindness and quiet courage inspire those she meets, though her shy and reserved nature often leaves her blushing at compliments or stumbling when matters of the heart arise.

Now, Dreamie Ganajya roams Eorzea as both a hunter and a protector, her arrows and blades a testament to her skill, and her heart a reflection of her grandmother’s wisdom. Though the pain of her past lingers, she chooses to move forward with hope, seeking to bring light to even the darkest of nights.

Dreamie Ganajai

Marilith [Dynamis]

Since I changed my character from a Viera back to Miqo, I had to also update her story origin again before starting her diary entries. Idk why the photos aren't there too.
