名前のお話

とあるIDに行ったときのことです。
開幕でタブ変換を使って「よろしくお願いします」と入れたところ、言語がEのタンクさんから「GINA ROSSETTI???」と返ってきました。
???となりましたが、聞くだけの英語力もなく進行し始めたこともあり、謎は謎のままに。

ロドストで検索してみたところ、Gina Rossettiは自分だけ。
まさかリアルで同じ名前の有名人でもいるのだろうか？と検索してみたら、Facebookとかインスタとかでヒットするんですが日本語じゃないのでよくわからず…。
そして考えてみると、実はGinaもRossettiもイタリア語の名前と姓なので複数人いても不思議ではないんですよね。
多分タンクさんの知り合いで同じ名前の方がいたのだろうという結論に至りました。

ちなみに名前の由来は、とある小説からロセッティという姓をいただきました。
スペルを調べたらどうやらイタリア語の姓だということで、じゃ、名前もイタリア語にしようとなり、イタリア語の女性の名前を検索して、出てきたリストの中から語感で選びました。
子どもの名前を決めてるようで楽しかったのを覚えてます。
