The Deinonychus is an all-knowing beast of Ilsabard legend, a counterpart to the anoles, lindwurms and raptors of Eorzean note. A wise, swift, and powerful creature with the keen ability to befriend the worthy of riders. One Deinonychus was blessed with the memory of one of the most legendary villains, a massive man of power by the name of Dio Brando.
Anointed with the name Dionysius Brandosius (alternately spelled as Dionysus Brandosus), this raptor's world is where he will make his stand. Such is the adventurer's will, to make his or her stand on the world, doing deeds that leave a legacy of learned lessons. The acts of heroism, the upward swing of all that is legendary. The unending journey, the thrill of soaring ever higher, without limits, towards the dawn.
That was what was conveyed to me in a vision told by my daughter. She was reliving the tale I lived years ago with Auntie Charity and she was telling me about how she strode up to Gaius and said, "Is that all you got? My Mom would be disappointed with you!" Only after I told her that this was his job in terms of acting and that he settled down in a different place in the world did she realize she was overdoing her role.
Thankfully, Gaius said to my daughter that she need not apologize; rather, he saw me in my baby girl and that I need to keep being a teacher to her as she continues to learn about the big picture. I gave her a ride on Dionysius and I saw the biggest smile on her face. It was huge, as if she had found her calling. An indelible image that even Dio himself would be proud of.
A word to the wise, though, you'd best be cautious when approaching Dionysius...lest you awaken the bane of the Joestar Family in raptor form!!! You thought this was a raptor of JoJo, but it was he, DIO!!!!
