So another week and even more of ol' Nael. Yes people she DOES take a while to beat, sigh. It also did not help we were once again short someone, so we had to resort to PF to find a replacement for the night. Luckily we found someone willing to put up with the MINE mechanics and did not mind the difficulty.
I have done phases one and two so much now that I don't even think much on them anymore, they have become very routine. In fact, the only times I did die was during phase four mainly, although a couple on three.
Even though we only got about 2 hours of practice tonight, we got a lot of practice on phase three and some on phase four. Phase 3 is actually not too hard as long as you pay attention to what is going on around you and don't tunnel. Just watch if you are marked with garotte and cleanse it if you are. avoid the column AOE's, the purple puddles, and pop knockback at the right time to not be pushed back into the wall and you are pretty much golden.
Phase four though, wow, that phase is ALL about positioning, positioning, positioning, and well, TIMING the positioning. You time the positioning right, you live. You don't and you die and probably kill most of the party along with you. ;p
There is a LOT of shifting around Nael to deal with the 3 Dragon debuffs that are hitting people, but if you do it right and cleanse them properly, they are quite manageable. THEN the dive bombs hit. (Shades of Twintania! :O)
Did not see much of those, we will deal with them next time and hopefully get the clear. (if the missing person can pick it up quick enough.)
You know this is not even 8 hours old yet and it already has almost triple the views of my last MINE Nael post. MAKES.....NO.....SENSE!!!!!!!
Lodestone, I will NEVER understand your fickleness! AGGGGH!!!!!!!!
