Hey journal! So minor update to a situation that occurred with Xel from a few days back. Kind of worth mentioning but other than that the day went slightly unremarkable.
So it took me awhile to finish recrafting the accessories that Xel had broke when she had defended her young fox child Freya from the previous week. I had enough leftover materials to include a new set of earrings. Satisfied, I prepared to mail them by putting them all in a travel-safe bag and head out to the mog mailbox.
Then the weirdest thing occurred. I sensed...myself. Well, sort of. In hindsight, I realize it was part of the aether that had been absorbed by Xel. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Curious, I put the bag on my toolbelt and began to follow the sensation down the hallway to where the bathhouse was.
The pull became more intense as I approached and entered. Cautiously, I opened the door and nearly had my eyes pop out. For a split second I thought I saw myself sitting in the ladies bath. After my rational mind caught up with my panic, I rapidly cataloged details. Darker skin, purple hair, demon-red eyes...must be Xel.
Though I saw a great deal of myself in the visage of Xel. Nose, ears, and even the hair style though as previously mentioned the color remained uniquely hers. And, as she was naked in the tub, I think she matched my own bust line but couldn't tell because of the water playing crazy from the neck down.
So she and I got talking about what had happened Apparently what she did absorb from me was used as a sort of catalyst in her transformation which occurred after the Weeping City exploration. She said that what she presently looked like was how she originally looked before being infused with succubi aether. That, though, was not expelled from her so it seems like it's here to stay.
Well, not wanting to push my luck I left the bag for her with all the accessories in it. Much to my surprise, she rushed out of the tub to give me a big hug. She soaked my work uniform, which wasn't too big of a deal. However that did treat me to look at her fully naked form. Then really wanting to get going, I blushed and told her to have a lovely day.
I've seen her around now and then and she's probably shocking more people in the free company than my change earlier this month.
The other thing that happened to me was I was rated for griffin patrol by the gatekeepers. Nothing like flying is all I can say. The griffin won't leave the area, sadly, but I'm at least not burning up ceruleum for my Falcon.
