Wednesday Evening/NightA both a good and a bad night at work last night. Good, in that we really put in a full
day's night's work; We really kicked ass. Bad, in that they're cutting my hours this week. So, I couldn't start until an hour later. And it's going to be more of the same the rest of the week. If I was able to come in at my normal time, last night's big freight load probably would've been done, or close to it. And the night manager wouldn't have had to step in and help us finish up. I kinda wonder what the rest of the week's gonna be like..................
Thursday-Friday MorningAnd this morning's
Path of Achra session was a run with a "
Malboro Knight" character that is basically a FF XIV "Bio-Warrior", inflicting curse, poison, and disease damage on nearby enemies. I managed to make it 3/4 of the way, but not without a few close calls. But after that, I definitely had to shut down so I can lay down.
But then, later on in the evening, since they're cutting hours, I had some extra time to play with. So I just played some more PoA. And this time, I basically killed my own run. I made the stupid mistake of taking on enemies that I should never have bothered with, and was made short work of.
<Oops!>And it was a really good night at work last night. A smaller freight load than yesterday, and we had three people to take care of it. So, we got done a bit early, and got sent off to other areas. Definitely a stark contrast to yesterday.
And this morning's Achra session was pretty blah. I failed one run, and started up my old reliable
Defensive Fire and
Ice character that I've completed journeys with before. And I eventually got him about halfway before I had to stop, since I was dozing off at that point. One more night at work........
