Friday Night

Been there, many times!




Called in last night. Yesterday had me waking up last night with my back all kinds of tore up. Definitely not in much of a condition to go into work like that.

But that was actually a blessing in disguise, as last night's HoloCure stream was GREAT! (I didn't stream Pinball because of my lower back). A bunch of people came by, white_wimmin, Keitaro87, and yangwright all dropped by for some good chat. And skullface33101 also dropped by. Been a while, good to see him! A real good and chatty stream today. :D

But as for the session itself it went real well. I did some story mode progression, completing the second and third stages, but bailing early out of the 4th one, as it was too rich for my blood (not enough DPS). I did some farming/crafting/gathering stuff for a while, and then I went ahead and did an "endless" survival run in the first area, which lasted 30 minutes (all of the stages have a 30-minute soft cap, kinda like an enrage timer in FF XIV, after which the game difficulty GREATLY ramps up). I called it off immediately after this (and I think everyone had left as well). But, a real good stream today. :)

Saturday

And this morning's Gems of War session sucked, especially the world event. Took way too long to finish up. Some bad gem drops and RNG, as well as a shitty kingdom on top of it, with mostly useless troops. And as said yesterday, I'm just gonna skip the weekend bounty event and just do some Gnome Vault runs instead. Did that for a while and just got the hell outta there. Sheesh!



Another good HoloCure stream. Not as social this time, with "only" Keitaro87 and yangwright coming by for a while. Still a fair amount of talky-talky though.

But for the HoloCuring itself it was all farming runs, trying out a few new characters, like Ceres Fauna, who is basically the white mage off of FF XIV. And I also tried another character named Watame, which plays KINDA like the "fistweaver" monk in WoW, a melee-based healer - My all-time favorite DPSer! - who deals damage to all enemies every time she heals (not sure if there's a FF XIV equivalent of this). My new main! You can just park her in one spot most of the time, unlike most other characters. Great because it allows me to do other stuff, like talk to my viewers, something that's hard to do when playing Pinball (oh, and the "melee" part of this character is the fact that her main weapon is a close-ranged AoE weapon). But, did a few runs with her before calling it good, as I had some shitty sleep today, and it was catching up with me. Still a good stream though. :D

Sunday

Aaaaand this morning's Gems sesh was another get-in-and-get-the-fuck-out affair. I skipped most of the dailies, even the world event, since it's about to be completed. And I'm in NO mood to mess with it. I did however do some more Vault runs though, before calling it off.

So, Season Four, Episode One of Hikaru no Go, specifically the match between Hikaru and Ochi, really feels like it should've been in Season Three's season finale. Seems weird that the match is actually at the beginning of this one. :/ But anyway, it seems Akira is paying the price of fame. Sux to be him right now. And it looks like Hikaru is getting a swollen head from turning pro. Oh, and it seems school is back in session too.

And I also played a bit more of HoloCure as well, doing a couple runs on Watame, one of which was a hard mode run. Yeah, that one was a rough one. If I'd have known it was doable at my level, I'd have waited to do it on my stream. <Oops!> I can still do it tonight, but still,......

Aaand another good HoloCure stream today. And the joint was pretty well jumpin' this time, with Keitaro87, yangwright, astralataraxy (although she came on right when I had to break off the stream for a bit, some bad timing for sure), zebiiLIVE (whose also a vtuber!), and a new visitor named HoT_JuNKo_eNoSHiMa, also came on, bringing the chat. :)

Otherwise, for the session it was a little bit of everything. I did a run or two with Fauna, Watame, and Sana, whose pretty much a mash-up of the astrologician class in FF XIV and Poe from Vampire Survivors (my former main). I was also doing a mixture of farming and progression runs as well. Aaaaand I did a little bit of mat farming as well. So, a good and busy stream today. :)

Monday Morning

This morning's Gems session was quite busy. And this week's focused kingdom is the "Karakoth" kingdom, basically the Cthulu kingdom. A pretty high-tier kingdom, some real heavy-hitters in this one. A stark contrast to last week, where that kingdom sucked total ass. Anyway, did some of the dailies, including the Underspire event. And I also worked on the Invasion guild event. Should be a good one this time. And after all that I got going on PvP, which was a super slog, since the selected kingdoms really suck. I tried to tough it out, but I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow, when the new selected kingdoms might be more favorable.

Oh, and because of how long this all took (just making the thumbnail took about an hour, since I've never made one like it before; Lots of trial and error lol), I had to skip watching Hikaru no Go, since I still have other shit to do (laundry and a food run). Quite a manic Monday!
