Another pretty good Slay the Spire session today. And yep! Had to start looking into defense now, as monsters - especially bosses - can easily one-shot me. And no amount of block will be enough to counteract the kind of damage these monsters do at this point. Not to mention that monsters are also surviving my onslaught as well. So, gotta get ready for a long-haul.

This morning I played a bit of a game I hadn't played in a while: Bloons Tower Defense 6. Another fave of mine. Been playing this game ever since it came out on the Kongregate website back in the early 2010s I think (back when it was BTD 3 if I'm guessing right). Good to catch up!

And I also watched episode 13 of Dragon Ball. Another tame one, no pedo-perv stuff. I actually thought this was the last episode of the season, since Yamcha and Bulma now hook up, the bad guys lost, the good guys won, and everyone lives happily ever after. But nope, there's at least one more episode. So, good twist guys! :D>

And an okay Slay the Spire session that ended up getting cut short, due to me nodding off despite getting some good sleep. :/> Otherwise I completed one run, and I made it to the last act on the next one. But playing Wraith Form (see above) on turn one is pretty much a requirement now, especially when the monsters can now take (and give!) what I can dish out. Far fewer turn one victories going forward.

Been playing a lot of Bloons Tower Defense 6 today. Some new maps in there that I was wanting to try out. And this game is one of the few games I WON'T stream, as multiplayer - my preferred mode - causes some serious lag issues. I could play singleplayer, but telling my viewers that I can't play with them just doesn't feel right. :(>

Also tried out Punch Planet this morning, a kinda techno-ey 2D fighter game, for the first time. Pretty decent game. I love the demo mode - aka CPU vs CPU - which just runs continuously ie. I don't have to keep starting matches when the previous one ends, like most other games. Great for when I need to AFK or just wanna sit back & watch.

And I did an earlier than normal Slay the Spire stream today, since I woke up about a half an hour earlier than normal due to bad (dream/nightmare-filled) sleep. And as shown above, I found a few Mind Blast cards this time around, so my deck strategy has once again shifted, focusing less on the "Lots o' Lightning" method and now on just big raw frontloaded damage, oftentimes ending the encounter as quickly as it started, especially on Acts I & 2.

Okay, time to call it a night, guys. <Take care>, guys. And have yourselves a good night/day. ;)>
