Kinda reminds me of the old Frank Zappa interview that went "So Frank, you have long hair. Does that make you a woman?" "You have a wooden leg. Does that make you a table?”



Pretty dead stream today. And I played my mortar/FFT chemist build for a little while, but eventually I ended up switching over to my flamethrower build, especially when the world bosses I'd be fighting would all be having disabling effects (stun/fear/etc), which the flamethrower build is mostly immune to. Did all of my open-world and crafting dailies as well.

A fairly dead but very efficient Guild Wars 2 session, with just skullface33101 dropping by for a bit. Many of today's world bosses were tied into the open-world dailies, making this a 2-for-1 day today. But unfortunately about an hour in I ended up dozing off despite me getting some good sleep today, so I had to shut down earlier than I wanted. I hate it when this happens. -_-

This morning I fired up an old classic: Ghost in the Shell. I used to watch the shit out of this movie back in the 90s (although I would often skip the middle philosophical part, as it's a bit on the waah waah wahwahwah side). Always nice to return to the classics!



I also did commentary on an ATHLEAN-X video this morning as well, one that was a big influence on the way I work out, especially these days.




Bad Guild Wars 2 session today, mostly due to lack of sleep (sinus issues due to sudden changing weather). I managed to down some of the world bosses, but one of them was bugged (pre-events wouldn't start up) and I was too dead to the world to do the rest of them. And I could only do a couple of open-world dailies, as one was a dungeon - something that I seldom have any luck in doing - that I have to do twice. And the other - that required you to complete 4 "events", Guild Wars 2's version of FATEs - was in an area where they were seldom appearing.

Oh! And all this time I hadn't mentioned how open-world dailies work in this game. How embarrassing! But anyway, you are given 4 of them. Typically, one is a gathering daily, an "event" daily, either a jumping puzzle or a mini-dungeon daily, and a "wild card" daily which ranges from a mini-game to a world boss kill. And you only need to do 3 out of 4 of them to for it to be considered a "completion" (you get gold and various currency), so you have some wiggle room with these.

So, just some awful luck this session. I should've just stayed in bed. -_-
