An okay day in Guild Wars 2 today. Just made my mats, but unfortunately I didn't have enough to upgrade anything. And the open-world dailies went pretty quick this time. I had to go to one out of the way place, but luckily the items I needed to gather were all in one area, so it balanced out.
Fantasy Strike went so-so as well. I did some boss rushes, and I tried playing a new character named "Valerie". And a totally unique character, in that she's openly lesbian, with lots of rainbow-themed attacks and outfits (one drawback of this game, the character lore and voice lines are a bit over the top. Like, there's a lawyer in this game. And you'll know it too, because he says things like
JUSTICE!,
OBJECTION!,
FINAL ARBITER!, etc. And he's just one example of many). I can't think of any other game that has an openly LGBT character. But anyway, like Setsuki, the one I mentioned yesterday, she's a speedy combo-based fighter. But I had a hard time trying to figure her out though, so I'll probably have to keep practicing with her in the future. But as usual, I watched replays after I was done fighting stuff, to wind down the session.

A good time today. In Guild Wars 2 my mat crafting went well. Not enough to make another item upgrade, but made some good progress towards it though. And the open-world dailies went real quick, about 30 minutes when it normally takes me 45 minutes to even an hour. I even had time to do a dungeon (props to the group I was in for knowing what they were doing, even though they were mostly newbies) as well. Sure wish I had these kind of days more often.
:(>And Fantasy Strike went well as well. I played Setsuki and Rook, doing boss rushes. I also practiced on Valerie (see above) too, and am starting to figure her out. I did a boss rush with her (boss rush mode = Fighting beefed-up opponents. You also get a powerup after every battle), but not surprisingly I didn't get very far with her. I also watched a tutorial video on her, then watched some replays of other people using her, seeing how the experts do it. Then I shut down and started on this post.
